How does Maison Asrar Harmony smell?
Eight notes crowd the top: apricot, peach, mandarin, orange, grapefruit, blackcurrant, pineapple and coconut. That is a fruit salad with creamy coconut in it, soft and velvety from the stone fruits, zesty from the orange, mandarin and grapefruit, tart from blackcurrant and tropical from pineapple. The heart cools and tidies things with lily of the valley, rose, neroli and freesia, a clean, bright bouquet that keeps the fruit from tipping into pure sweetness.
Five base notes, vanilla, white musks, cashmeran, sandalwood and cedar, supply the foundation. Vanilla and white musks bring a creamy, clean softness, sandalwood adds smooth wood, cedar adds dry structure, and cashmeran gives a warm, soft, woody and spicy texture. The list suggests a bright, juicy fruit perfume that ends in creamy, clean woods, with the Oriental word probably pointing at the vanilla warmth in the base.
