Maison Asrar perfumes by scent family
The 116 Maison Asrar perfumes fall into eleven families. The largest is woody with 39 scents; 103 scents belong to more than one family.
How the families are made
For nearly every perfume, Maison Asrar's own product page has a line called Family with one to four words: Woody, Oriental, Floral, Fruity and so on. This guide takes those words as they are and sorts the scents by them. A scent the brand calls Woody and Musk is listed under woody and under musky and powdery.
The brand uses about forty different spellings and combinations of these words, so the guide merges the close ones: citrusy, hesperidic and fresh sit together, as do fougère and aromatic, or leathery and chypre. Three perfumes (Pomme Rouge, Haven and Gold Noir) have no family word on the brand's page, or no page there at all, and appear under no family.
