Rose stands alone in the top, which on paper means a clear, recognisable floral first impression with no other bright notes to dilute it. The heart is simply listed as Woody, a general term pointing at dry, smooth timber rather than any named tree. Because the pyramid has so few entries, each one does a lot of work, and the wood is likely there to anchor the rose so it feels grounded rather than airy.
Beneath that, the base is ambery and leather. Ambery is a loose word for a warm, resinous, slightly sweet glow, while leather suggests a supple, dry, faintly smoky character.
