How does Maison Asrar Khayyal smell?
Pink grapefruit, bergamot and apple give the top a sharp, juicy, slightly tart freshness, and pink pepper adds a light, sparkling spice. In the heart, hybrid lavender is a cross between lavender species, a little more camphorous and fresh, lily of the valley is a dewy floral, and ginger adds a warm, zesty, slightly peppery kick. That makes for a bright, sparkling front half with a clean herbal-floral centre.
White musks, cashmeran and Orcanox make a smooth, modern base. White musks are clean and soft, cashmeran is a woody-musky material with a velvety, slightly spicy quality, and Orcanox is a synthetic woody material that adds a dry, earthy, mineral effect. Patchouli is named in the family words but not in the note list, so any earthiness from it is probably faint. Expect a zesty opening that dries down to a clean, woody-musky finish.
