How does Maison Asrar Nada smell?
Mango does most of the talking in the top, adding a ripe, juicy sweetness that makes bergamot and mandarin feel softer than a plain citrus opening. In the heart, cedarwood supplies dry wood, orange blossom adds a sweet, soft white floral, and Ambery, a collective term, brings a warm resinous glow. Fruit and flowers sit over wood and ambery warmth, which makes the Woody and Ambery labels read as a soft frame rather than a heavy one.
Three entries make up the base: Creamy, musk and patchouli. Creamy is not an ingredient but a texture, pointing to a smooth, milky, rounded feel; musk adds clean softness and patchouli an earthy, dry depth. The juicy fruit and blossom should give way to a smooth, earthy, woody finish with a soft, creamy feel, and little sharpness anywhere along the way.
What Maison Asrar's own page says about Nada
Maison Asrar's product page for Nada gives its family as woody and ambery.
It also puts words of its own on three of the notes: musk (soft, sensual), orange blossom (floral, radiant, luminous) and bergamot (citrus, fresh, elegant).
Who might like Maison Asrar Nada?
Nada is for someone who likes tropical fruit and orange blossom held in check by cedarwood and a little patchouli. If that appeals, the woody, ambery Maison Asrar scents with fruity tops and soft musky bases share much of this structure and are worth comparing by notes.
Nada and the rest of the Maison Asrar range
Maison Asrar Fairyland and Nada meet in bergamot, mandarin, cedarwood, musk and patchouli. After that the first lists cinnamon, cypriol, geranium and rose, the second mango and orange blossom.
Maison Asrar Hilm overlaps in mandarin, mango, cedarwood, musk and patchouli. Its own notes are orange, chamomile, jasmine and ylang-ylang, against bergamot and orange blossom here.
Next to Maison Asrar Whisper, the shared part is mandarin, mango, orange blossom and musk. The rest differs: pear, muguet, milk and vanilla there, bergamot, cedarwood and patchouli in Nada.
